7pm- Polygamy Land Protest
Thousands of members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) from several states traveled to Salt Lake City to show their opposition to a court hearing regarding the future of property they believe is theirs. Our Take: They should give the polygamists back their land. Period.

8pm- Woman Sued Over Tweet
On May 12th Amanda Bonnen, who has since deleted her Twitter account, responded to a friend with the tweet, "Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? Horizon realty thinks it's okay." Our Take: The company is resolving this the worst way possible. They shouldn't sue, go to the girl and resolve the issue.

9pm- Reggie Campos Released on Bail
Campos made his first appearance in 3rd District Court Wednesday. During his brief video hearing, Judge Robert Adkins reduced Campos' bail from $500,000 cash only to $100,000 bondable bail. Campos' family said he would be home by Wednesday night. Our Take: This is a million to one situation and people are going to draw the wrong conclusions about what we should "do about it"

7pm- Education Spending…
Utah once again ranks last for per pupil spending in the nation. At about $4000 below the national average when it comes to spending per student. Our Take: These numbers just show how important it is for us to be careful in spending education dollars. Also, their numbers are wrong (according to Ethan)

8pm- Fat America
America's expanding Obesity issue is a well-documented and expensive problem. Some say part of the solution lies in taxing one of the causes of obesity - soft drinks chalked full of sugar. Our Take: I don't want to live in a place where we tell people that they can't do this or they shouldn't do that.

9pm-People Still Beating the President's Birth Certificate to death
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today once again addressed the now steady stream of questioning concerning the President's legal citizenship. He refused to keep talking about it saying that it's a closed matter. Our Take: This story getting the legs that it has goes to show that people will believe anything.

7pm- Romney v. Obama
If the 2012 presidential election were held today, President Obama and possible Republican nominee Mitt Romney would be all tied up at 45% each, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Our Take: Obama's Numbers are falling off. This poll is less indicative of Romney as a great candidate and more about how people are a little jaded with President Obama right now.

8pm- More and More Stranded Hikers Rescued
This weekend, like many other through the summer, was speckled with stories of lost or stranded hikers saved by emergency service crews. Some are suggesting hikers pay their own way when they get saved. Even if it's just a little. Our Take: Emergency crews get paid for this, they get tax funding for this. So what's the problem?

9pm- Moon Landing 40 Years Later
40 years later conspiracy theories about the moon landing are still alive and well. We'll have NASA Ambassador for Utah and Nevada Patrick Wiggins in the Nightside Studios to talk about the latest space news and debunk some of those theories. Plus, why aren't we on MARS yet?

The Tale of Two Sex Eds
Sex Education has been a hot button issue that has made a lot of people on both sides of the isle very hot around the collar. Legislators have proposed two separate classes that would be the answer to whether or not abstinence should be an option for class. Should the class be taught at all?

Utah Welfare Drug Test Debate
Legislators have been deliberating this particular issue for a while and a debate today led to no real decision as to what the State of Utah is going to do when it comes to drug tests for the welfare recipients. Critics say it will cost too much to administer the tests and others say they don't want to pay for the bad habits of a few.

Continental Airline Captain Dies Mid-Flight
A crazy freaking story straight out of a movie. A Captain of a transatlantic flight dies mid-flight and the co-pilot stepped in to bring the flight home safely, without a hitch. They were greeted at the airport with tons of cameras and media attention. The passengers were miffed, however, as they weren't even aware he had died. Ethan thinks You should be informed of such an event. Alex hates Ethan today.

Technology Tuesday
Bloggers have lost a big time case in Great Britain where the High Court has ruled that bloggers do not have the right to be completely anonymous. How will this ruling effect us here? Plus, technology One Man Think Tank Greg Stebben tells us why the Netbook is so popular. Nightside tells you how you can win your own.

Park City's Annexation
Maintaining the tradition that they have kept for the last 80 years…Park City still thinks they are better than everyone else. Their campaign of "The Independent Republic of Park City" has raised some eyebrows of fellow Utahns that view this type of delineation as Park City not wanting to be associated with the rest of the state. Ethan and Alex give them their wish. Good riddance, Park City. Now all you need is your own national flag, song, food, theme etc. Our listeners will decide.

Davis County Gets Ripped for Motorcycle Purchase
A brand new Police Harley with all the bells and whistles is getting national attention as a Senator from Oklahoma has cited it and other examples of what he calls inappropriate spending of stimulus money. Is it really that frivolous? Ethan and Alex have what other items from around the country that made the list.
